The Call
Before Pastor Timileyin Anu Oyekola was born, God revealed a divine plan to his father, Pastor. E. F. Oyekola, in the mid-1950s. After receiving God’s call and founding a church at Oyekola Oje, the Lord told him that his ministry would progress slowly and steadily rather than experiencing an immediate revival. However, at the latter stage of his ministry, God would ignite a great revival. The Lord also promised to send him a son who would be the arrowhead of this revival.
In the early 1970s, while praying at Olorunkole Mountain, Akinyele, Ibadan, Baba E. F. Oyekola received another divine confirmation—he was going to have a son who would be a revivalist and a mighty prophet of God.
By 1979, after having two sons, Baba sought God again concerning the promised revival. The Lord reassured him that HE would still send a son as the agent of revival.
In 1985, the prophecy was fulfilled with the birth of a baby boy named Timileyin Oyekola. From a young age, he began experiencing supernatural visions—repeatedly seeing Jesus on the cross. Though he did not understand them at the time, these visions were an early sign of his divine calling.
The most profound moment of his call came during his national youth service (NYSC) in Plateau State. God spoke to him that he will not allow him to bow his head before any human judge as a lawyer, instead, he must return home and do God’s work.
After this, he was reading a book titled The Precious Blood of the Lamb, during which God gave him another instruction—before stepping fully into ministry, he must be ordained by His servant, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, for the Ibadan phase of his ministry.
Upon completing his youth service, he returned to Ibadan and began searching for Bishop Wale Oke, assuming it would be an easy task. However, it turned out to be a two-year journey of patience and obedience. Despite pressure from many to launch into ministry, he refused to deviate from God’s instruction.
In April 2012, after joining the Advanced Ministers Seminar (AMS) of Bishop Francis Wale Oke, he was ordained as a minister in the body of Christ, stepping fully into his divine assignment.
The Vision
Pastor Timileyin Oyekola carries a divine mandate as a teacher of God’s Word, a prophet, and an apostle in the body of Christ. God has given him a message that must be heard. He belongs to the apostolic tribe.
At the time of his calling, Joel 2:23 was one of the scriptures God used to commission him into ministry:
“Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.”
God revealed to him that while his father’s ministry experienced the rain moderately, his own ministry would witness THE RAIN in the first month, that is, both the former and latter rain together from the very first day of his ministry.
The Rain
The former rain represents the ancient move of God in his ministry, manifesting through the apostolic and mountain dimensions—deep prayer, prophetic encounters, and a return to the raw power of God as seen in the early church.
The latter rain is the manifestation of charismatic and Pentecostal dimensions, bringing fresh outpourings of the Holy Spirit, revival, and supernatural encounters that transform lives.
Through THE RAIN, God is using Pastor Timileyin Oyekola’s ministry to restore what the enemy has stolen—the years devoured by the locust, cankerworm, caterpillar, and palmerworm (Joel 2:25). As a result, God’s people will eat in plenty, be satisfied, and praise His name for the wondrous works He is doing in their lives.
This is the foundation and heartbeat of the vision God has entrusted to him.
